TTTTS is a key part of Trinity’s commitment to building a community of support for students in need - providing critical support for students who are facing huge pressures in these adverse economic times.
Education, especially for the disadvantaged and marginalized, is our societies only long term hope. In these more challenging times, we need to come together and do more.
What Your Support Will Do
Funds raised are distributed evenly to the Student Hardship fund, Trinity Access Programmes (TAP), and the National Institute for Intellectual Disability (NIID). You can also designate your sponsorship directly to any one of these three initiatives.
Some examples of what the funding will make possible:
€500 will help a student through a financial crisis and could be the difference between staying in College or dropping out.
€1,000 will fund a job-coach for a student with an intellectual disability moving from College into the work-place.
€2,500 will make the difference to one student in one year; this intervention often making the difference to a student who might not otherwise finish their degree.
€10,000 will support a student through a 4-year degree course. Hundreds of Trinity students are currently in need of this support to continue their studies.
